As Drupal gradually ceases to be a labyrinth of interconnected alternatives and a den of confusion due to the rich alternatives at every turn, and this site is getting to the point where it can actually be used as a process tool for its own development, I am motivated towards objectivizing the history of this evolution.

I started out reading through the two articles referred to in Beginnings, and trying out bits and pieces.

Then an important phase was the installation of and experimentation with the various modules, during the decision-making period of trying them out, getting them to work, checking them out and doing as much testing as possible.
